Wedding Dance Lessons For A Stunning Outdoor First Dance With Lifts!

When you see Crystal and David’s incredible First Dance lifts, you’d never believe they were beginners! Having absolutely no dance experience, they booked their wedding dance lessons with us to learn how to dance together for their outdoor first dance. They wanted to learn a dance that featured traditional waltz style elements with lifts. However, as beginners that was questionable, as it may not have been safe. Luckily our amazing choreographer Luke could see they had the strength and physicality to safely lift and be lifted. He created the most wonderful choreography to their first dance song which was ME! by Taylor Swift. Enjoy watching their First Dance video, it’s absolutely fantastic! The newlyweds enthusiasm, love and connection is a joy to behold.

About The Wedding Couple

At the end David and Crystal are keen to embrace their parents. Crystal’s parents are avid ballroom dancers and the dance had been a surprise, which they were over the moon about. The groom, David, said “Luke tailored it to fit our dreams but with realism. We were so glad he had the patience and confidence to teach us the big lifts! He is outstanding and made this everything we could have imagined. It was such a lovely new thing to also learn together. In week one, we could not have imagined that we could pulled it off. Luke is an absolute star of a teacher and human being. He has never-ending patience, he’s fun and is a very talented, adaptable teacher. He made our dream first dance a reality. One of the best moments was when we successfully nailed the waltz and on the day, seeing our parents faces.”

Wedding Dance Lessons For Outdoor First Dance – The Venue

Crystal and David’s wedding planner, Helen from Licandro Weddings in Tenerife, described them as the ‘perfect pair’. She their first dance was amazing, which is high praise, as Helen knows a thing or two about wedding dance lessons. She used to work for us in the past as a wedding dance teacher when she lived in the UK! These days she resides in Tenerife and runs Licandro Weddings, planning and styling weddings. Luckily with the gorgeous weather in Tenerife, outdoor first dances are something she’s used to! She runs the company in partnership with her husband Juan, who is the wedding photographer.

The wedding dance teacher Luke was very proud of what the couple had achieved over their six dance lessons. The groom, David, felt much more confident after taking the dance lessons. I’m sure you’ll agree he looks super confident in the film! Crystal loved working with Luke and felt that her nerves had been erased. We certainly only see happiness and confidence in the film.
