First Dance Video Podcast With Wedding Angels

I love talking about first dances and wedding dance lessons, so when Sylvia from Wedding Angels asked me to appear on her first dance video podcast show, I jumped at the chance! It was great to chat about a subject so close to my heart with such experienced wedding professionals. The panel featured Kelly Hawkes, an award winning wedding celebrant and Evie West who runs The Country Blush, a wedding and event planning company. Sylvia was a fantastic host! She runs Wedding Angels, which offers wedding planning and management, as well as producing Wedding Angels Video Podcasts which help engaged couples plan their wedding days.

The topic we discussed was ‘Some couples don’t sweat the first dance while others hate the thought of it! I thoroughly enjoyed filming the First Wedding Dance Video Podcast, as I found everyone’s opinions so interesting. We agreed it’s best to do what suits you best as a couple. It’s a great mantra to apply to your entire wedding! Real-life bride Sara’s comment made me smile, as it’s something I hear regularly. She said her fiancé wasn’t keen to take wedding dance lessons, but he had a go and found it a great experience. Once I taught groom who wasn’t keen to take wedding dance lessons, however in the end he did, as he wanted his future wife to be happy. Once he started dancing with her, he realised he loved it, after which he was so excited to do their first dance. He even wanted them to take up ballroom dancing as a hobby!
